코스 개요

At the end of a Skool course you will be a better speaker, reader and writer in English. You will feel like you have learned in a personalised way, far from busy classrooms, and away from the crowd. Some people might feel that they will learn better in large class sizes, but that is not what we offer at Skool.


Our General English courses are designed for the discerning language student. We offer a varied menu of tuition, placing emphasis on addressing your strengths and weaknesses in English language, whether spoken, written or in reading. We will explore grammar rules, tenses, and the idiosyncrasies of English. Our highly qualified teachers want you to succeed and will make you a better speaker, reader and writer in English. 

We encourage a practical approach to English language and practise speaking English.

We foster personal relationships and will tailor our teaching to you. 

We believe in: fewer students, more personal attention, and we limit class sizes to 6 learners. It’s your journey.

학교 위치

Skool is situated in the historic remnants of an old tin mine’s engine house in Wheal Kitty next to St Agnes, a picturesque village on the north Cornwall coast which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A few steps from the classroom, magnificent granite cliffs mark the edge of the earth and the beginning of the wild Atlantic Ocean.

St Agnes’ three pristine beaches – Trevaunance, Trevellas and Chapel Porth – are breathtaking and easily accessible. The village itself is a very pretty one and home to an eclectic range of boutique restaurants and English pubs, serving locally caught fish and Cornish ale and cider. St Agnes is a short car ride from Newquay airport and Truro train station. Its position and magical countryside make it a popular destination for discerning visitors, keen to escape the busy tourist traps.

Staying with a family is is a great way to immerse yourself in the English and language, and a great way to explore English culture.

Host families offer continued opportunity to improve your English conversation. All of our homestays include a single room, breakfast and an evening meal. And most homestay accommodation is within walking distance of our classroom.

There is also a wide range of self-catering accommodation, hotels and B&Bs in St Agnes. Many are listed on the St Agnes town home page: https://visitstagnes.com/stay/. It’s a good place to start if a homestay does not suit your purposes. Please do get in touch, and we'll do our best to advise you.

St Agnes is a picturesque traditional Cornish village. Whilst it is not a busy metropolitan centre, hotels, self catering, and Bed and Breakfasts are in demand. Our advice is to book quickly to secure your accommodation.
