Adventure Galapagos
Get a taste of the Galapagos with the Adventure Galapagos Spanish Program. Each morning you will study Spanish and each afternoon explore the Islands with guided excursions and activities(Guided excursions Monday through Friday). Explore, encounter wildlife up close and personal, swim, and discover why they call the Galapagos the Enchanted Islands... all while learning Spanish.

Included:
1) Airport pickup and transfer to accommodation in Quito and on the Islands.
2) 20 hours per week of group Spanish classes with maximum 6 students per class.
3) Accommodation in a hostel/hotel, double occupancy room, 6 days/5 nights per week.
4) Breakfast
5) Spanish classes in the morning and activities with local guides in the afternoon.
6) Diploma or certificate of studies.
7) Luggage storage and safety box.

Not included:
1) Round-trip flight ticket to Galapagos
2) Galapagos National Park entrance fee and ID card $110
3) $30 enrollment fee for all programs

Santa Cruz Island
Puerto Ayora is located on Santa Cruz Island and is the most populated area in the Galapagos. This small, yet lively fishing village contains the best infrastructure in the archipelago, with numerous hotels, restaurants and bars, boutique shops, banks, pharmacies, and tourist agencies. Study Spanish in Puerto Ayora with the Galapagos Islands Spanish School and explore Santa Cruz Island, home to the Charles Darwin Research Station and the beautiful Tortuga Bay.

Santa Cruz Island Excursions:
Charles Darwin Research Center
Visit Lonesome George, a 90+ year-old tortoise, the last of his kind on the Islands. Learn about the archipelago in the interactive museum and look at what conservation projects the researchers are conducting, including the preservation of the giant tortoise in the wild. Observe the turtle hatchery, where the Galapagos National Park Service operates a breeding programs to hatch, rear, and reintroduce the different species of tortoises back into their natural environments.

Santa Cruz Island Highlands
The Highlands of Santa Cruz are a nature lover's delight. Lush, rolling hills cover the extinct volcano of Santa Cruz, famous for its lava tunnels. On a clear day gasp at the spectacular view of the clear waters and extinct volcanic cones. Occasionally it is possible to see giant tortoises in their natural environment.

Tortuga Bay
The gorgeous, white sand beach of Tortuga Bay is a popular spot for sea turtles to lay their eggs. The southern part of the beach has great surf while further to the north you will find a more secluded area, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and studying Spanish. You may encounter marine iguanas on the beach, so watch your step. Take the path between the beach and the bay through a forest of beautifully, yellow flowering cacti to bird watch. Tortuga Bay is a wonderful place to enjoy a colorful sunset.

Tour de Bahía
The Bay Tour is a chance to explore various sites around Puerto Ayora. Visit the Playa de los Perros and encounter blue-footed boobies, pelican, and marine iguanas. Continue down the rocky trail to Las Grietas, a freshwater channel perfect for swimming and jumping from the high rocks. After a refreshing swim head to La Lobería to see a large colony of flirtatious sea lions. You might see a giant Galapagos tortoise.
